The lawmakers , if I remember correctly , had about 6 months to revamp the rules to accommodate the new administration, and the decision of the Court in Allard. At the time of the Court rulling, the MMPR was , 'suspended' , because of un-constitutional operations which existed and needed to be amended.
Now, that said, and if correct, that would not mean that the MMPR would be completely thrown out. What it would mean is that the entity would be rendered ineffective, up until the point that the new amendments could be effectuated to reflect the correct laws and procedures.
Being that I am very confident that Bill and Company have their finger on the pulse of what is coming down the pike, WAY more than I do.....I must concede that he knows exactly what he is doing, and has very good reasons for doing so......what ever that may be.
To sit here and second guess in my judgment is a fools errand at best. It truly comes down to simply doing what we have been doing for so long, and trusting Bill to maneuver things in the best interest of the company and the shareholders.
No one really knows the larger picture, or , what the future will bring. One thing I am confident about though is that Bill did not travel down this long and frustrating road for exercise. The man has a plan, and will do the best for all involved. JMO of course. GLTA
