Who has more influence, the former attorney general of the United States and a former U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts, or a bunch of slimeballs who greenmail companies into paying settlements for frivolous lawsuits?

I agree with DD2, if influence matters CTIX has the heavyweights on their side.
But I don't think influence is at play here. The judge made it clear that she did not want to be overturned on appeal. I agree that the length of time this is taking means that she's researching and writing a complex, detailed finding, which she would not have to do if she were going to pass this on to trial.
And let's remember too, there are many fewer judges than there should be, and she is undoubtedly swamped with work. Maybe she'll take Memorial Day weekend to write the decision.
