Good procedural summary, Kelt. Just to make it clear to any who are new to CTIX: the injured party in this is CTIX. The Rosen group has nothing of substance and filed a frivolous lawsuit. Usually when baseless lawsuits like this are filed, the company that is attacked pays them some small amount (often called "greenmail" ) to withdraw the lawsuit and go away, even though the company has done nothing wrong. For the companies, it's cheaper to be extorted than it is to hire lawyers to fight it.
THIS is why I so commend CTIX for fighting these guys tooth and nail. When companies start fighting back, eventually it will become so expensive for the ambulance-chaser lawyers who are attempting greenmail that it becomes a broken business model. That's the only way to stop these people, who have driven many companies into bankrupy. CTIX will not be a victim like those other companies.
