PR's / 10Q's
Its important to remember that PR's and SEC filings are the effects of hard work. The most recent PR titled:
..was released May 3rd. SCIE didn't meet with Duke May 2nd, begin talking about licensing agreements in the morning, and then come to an agreement 5 hours later. They were probably in talks for months. Who knows, maybe SCIE was in talks with Duke even before the Oncoscope acquisition was complete! The PR is the effect of all that work.
Often times, the silence is when the most is happening. At least this is how I look at it. This is NOT investment advice.
The neat thing is asking ourselves, "Why did SCIE even get a license from Duke University for the technology in the first place?" Why would SCIE waste money on this if they didn't believe it would eventually bring in major profits?
Asking questions like this shows me that something is in the works; more than likely a second device. I know its very easy to read a PR or a SEC filing and then quickly forget about it and instantly become eager for the next one. But reviewing them from time to time reminds me of the immense amount of effort, money, and resources put into this company.
