At the November 4th 2014 Lakeshore council meeting they made pretty darn sure to clarify that the zoning by-law was not specific to Cen-biotech but to the industry as a whole. Then they voted and the vote was in favor of forcing the industry and commercial grow companies to conduct business in industrial zones and not agricultural ones....it was clearly noted that anyone can file an appeal for "site specific" re-zoning of their property to allow on a case by case basis for them to grow mmj.

and now we are seeing how long that freaking process takes and getting in line with all of the septic tank companies applying for whatever the hell issues that they may have.

My problem with the matter is that if they were clear that this was not about Cen-biotech but instead about the industry as a whole why didn't they build a special exemption into the by-law amendment that did specifically allow cen-biotech to operate since they had already pulled all of the permits and even closed them all out successfully after being signed off on by the powers that are in control of that crap in the town???

The only thing I can come up with is that it might lead to litigation from other companies coming to the party later on claiming that Cen received special treatment and this was one way to force us to go through the hoops and only open them up to litigation from one company instead of an untold number that could be infinite.
