It should say:

"Shortly" is the name of GC's miniature pony. He was talking to his pony, when he made that statement.
Shortly is also the source of all of the manure that comes out of AMBS. From the amount of manure, you would think Shortly is a Clydesdale. (or perhaps a team of Clydesdales)
