That is good to hear. Your 401k was not revived because of the current Administration...it was revived by the federal reserve via their play on interest rates....foremost. your 401k is meant to last roughly 40 years...so any Administration given the duration of such would not have hampered your 401k. Simply put.... when the market collapses...you continue to buy in at cheaper prices. The only time it may hamper ones retirement is if the market crashes near your exit...."as in" ...during the Clinton/Bush/Obama administrations. That is just one example of market timing.
That's right....many that reaped the benefits of the dot com lost it all during the collapse that happened to fall within the Clinton administration.
Finally...it is not to fear the word of Socialism...it is to fear the substance of Socialism...and those that support such.
