We were told that ESS, ELTO, MANFand the DX division were worth hundreds of millions each.
BP's are sitting on BILLIONS in cash and always on the hunt for new acquisition to add to their pipelines of expiring patents.
If BP's saw anything of interest to them, they could easily buy the whole company for 200-500mil. A drop in the bucket for BP's.
thats one thing i've always wondered myself what did not make sense to me.
If i were a big pharma company i would try to buy AMBS's pipeline.
Whats a couple of a 100million dollars to a big company, nada!
I'm in a company that just recently bought 3 products for 275 million with cash because they make so much money a year they can easily afford to do so.
It could also be that AMBS management does get offers but they don't think the offers are fair and believe they can get there on there own eventually and make more money. But it will probably take a while longer and will most likely be at our expense as shareholders through toxics dumping and dilution.
you have a good point with the NJ $7.5m tax credit as well, i've many times wondered why we don't hear anything about that anymore? Isn't that well over a year or so ago?
What i also wonder is where are the grants? I recall another company getting their grant pretty fast (1 month AFTER the acquisition).
I also recall an article that had 4 or so companies that all had grants somewhere between $75-$275m? for their burn products.
Yet ESS seems to me like such a superior product with no competition in the field for 3rd and 4th degree burns. Why does it take so long for a grant?
Even the ex-president burns (ya know what i mean)has a video stating how much this product is needed!
With such a much needed product like ESS you would think the goverment or anyone for that matter would grant us a boat load of money to get our product to market ASAP!
The delays that we are getting with ESS is just weird in my eyes. We already have about a half year delay then what was originally planned and said.
I can only judge on the information that i've heard or read from AMBS management and i'm always trying to be objective but some of the things that has been said by gerald make no sense to me at all, given to what has transspired till this very day.
I still believe things can work out for us all, but its gotta happen this year ASAP!
What i would like to hear in Gerald's update to us is how is he going to take out the toxics completely and get enough sufficient money to progress the pipeline.
Thats my biggest question.
I said before to some investors a half year back or so, i was willing to give Gerald until 1st of april to execute and achieve some things.
So far i'm dissapointed (but hey its not 1st of april yet!).
I'm willing to see how it all unfolds in 2016.
If by end of 2016, nothing significant has happend or trials started or some sort of grant or parntership has not happened, then i will consider myself screwed.
I wish everyone a fun easter holiday weekend and thanks for the discussion everyone!
