This quote is disingenuous given your response to HNBadger. The "possible reason" is clear. Unless you are advocating the sell and move on strategy (which you claim that you aren't), there is no other choice but to hang on, remain invested, and follow this stock in hopes it turns around.
If you don't know that is the "possible reason" - you are advocating a sell and move on strategy for longs who are down big and have changed their opinion on GC.
