who works Mart Saarma in his lab. Remember, Dr. Lindahl was the lead on the "MANF is indispensable for the proliferation and survival of pancreatic β cells."
This is actually more interesting research than what it first appears.
If you are going to treat someone with say MANF and you can actually monitor it's effect through your urine, that would make it easier vs. some complicated test or long period of time.
