Very Interesting Find (VIF)
1.
go to the PENTAX Global webpage:

Then go to Products > Advanced Imaging
Notice the WavSTAT4 is NOT a product shown here because the WavSTAT is not available globally, yet.

Now go to the GERMAN PENTAX website
http://www.pentaxmedical.com/de/
(This is in German, but you can figure it out..)
Click the first tab 'Produkte'
Then scroll down, and click 'Moderne Bildgebung'
Look what magically shows up.

Know what this means? The WavSTAT4 is available for purchase in Germany.
Applying simple logical conclusions (call it opinion), PENTAX Germany wouldn't show it as available unless it was ready to be sold.. which to me means, its ready to be sold, and more than likely already has been sold.
Don't believe it? Think its a 'glitch' or a 'mistake'? Read on..

The WavSTAT is not shown under Advanced Imaging for the USA site because we're still waiting on that PMA approval.

The WavSTAT IS shown! And why? Look at the bottom left corner of the PENTAX brochure:
The UK is also adopting the WavSTAT.
Analysis:
Pentax isn't going to offer a product if it isn't ready. Its not ready in America, so its not shown on the website. It is ready in Germany and the UK, so its showing up on these websites.
We'll know for sure when the WavSTAT is good to go for sales in the US when we see it available on the USA PENTAX website under Advanced Imaging.
So what now?
Keep a close eye on the USA PENTAX website:

The second it shows up, it must mean something changed, and to me, it means that change is the availability of the WavSTAT for sale in the US.
