I'm afraid you won't see the real effects of Obama

I'm afraid you won't see the real effects of Obama's policies until several years into the future.
That you're 'afraid' suggests that you believe a negative outcome is 'baked in' and overlooks too many contingencies that could improve the outlook. So I think 'may see' is fairer.
There was virtually no Republican, at any time from 09 to the recent past, who predicted private sector job growth and unemployment to be what they are now, which is to say measurably 'better than they were'. Yeah, low bar. But the very same bar that would have been set for McCain/Palin.
And we both know that no Republican would be naysaying today's numbers were they the result of a Republican administration's 'efforts'.
Regardless of what you think the merits of those numbers to be, they are within the framework that Republican politicians themselves use to measure there own success. Romney's prediction of 6% unemployment for example.
Obamacare 'death panels and actual negative job growth attributed to Obamcare are other examples of typically Teapublican apocalyptic thinking.
