Rat models are horrible in predicting how a drug will act in people, in general. What is good is that this drug has been widely tested in humans already and has shown to be somewhat effective. How effective still remains to be seen but it does look good so far. A bigger P3 trial will be more telling. Let's hope AMBS will still be around to see that P3 trial through.
