the key part of the quote you posted from Gerald is "Our main goal in any of these initiatives will be to maximize shareholder value."
It would be nice if Gerald could explain how this deal does that unless he meant possible gains in ~2 years.
The bottom line is that Gerald is still fumbling the ball and that the DX division is worthless by evidence that he wasn't able to sell it for anything worth while.
