Onwards & Upwards...

We’ve traded about 1.4 million shares over the past four trading sessions on the Toronto Venture Exchange (EXS). Volume has been increasing with each session this week, opening Monday at .075Cdn, on 128,000 shares, and closing Thursday, today, at .11Cdn on 624,000 shares. Stockwatch,com will tell you all that when you click on ‘3 Month Closes’. This rapid escalation in support and price appears to be running concurrently to hefty improvement in gold, trading as high as US$1,113 today.
Starting with China, equity markets around the world are loosing ground quite dramatically, and the media appear to be playing that, and other ‘profound’ news, to the max, scaring the heck out of all the little guys, like you and me, provoking more selling, and more downside. All the North American Exchanges are feeling the trend, and many investors are heading to gold & gold based equities.
So, unless the current trend pulls an abrupt about face, I think we’ll continue moving forward with the momentum, hopefully with even higher volumes, and higher stock prices. With all the tools available today, investors have the ability to compare EXSFF to a range of other similarly priced equities. I personally do not know of any others that can match Explor Resources for the type, nature & quality of exploration prospects. Neither can I think of an exploration company, other than some of the senior mining equities, that have a gold exploration project as promising as Timmins Porcupine West.
In spite of the ongoing woes of Teck, we look forward to some encouraging results from last month’s drilling. I can only imagine the pressure at their Head Office, given the steady downtrends in coal and copper. Certainly, with gold moving forward, you would think they would be anxious to continue their program at TPW, with a view to shifting corporate gears to something a little more profitable?? I for one would be really shocked if they didn’t escalate their efforts there in the next few months….
Chris Dupont is carefully pondering this year’s exploration plan. I suspect that recent events would put the company's gold prospects in the fore front of his thinking? So, finally for now, to those of you hesitating to participate in this rapidly unfolding opportunity, or hesitating to add to your position, please take advantage of the market before it runs away from you….
