I couldn't remember where it was that I read that ESS had been linked to a 500 to 700 million dollar deal with the Chinese's and then the epiphany. We acquired ESS from LONZA that had submitted a brief seeking damages from REGENICIN and the brief specified damages resulting from the Chinese deal.
Speculation/Hope
The Chinese apparently are still interested in ESS. I assume that US law would prohibit a non-national entity to acquire ESS in the event of BK or at least complicate the process. So, the Chinese have motive to ensure AMBS does not BK.
