"Alzheimer’s disease is another target for this

I would imagine this would allow for the delivery of MANF in the brain. If so, that would be awesome. Does anyone know if this has anything to do with the "delivery mechanism" that AMBS was working on with who ever it was they were working on it with? (Sorry I forgot).
One of the problems I see with AMBS is their time to deliver. The science is moving so fast that I feel as if AMBS might just get left behind due to other treatments coming to market faster and/or just being better treatments for the same diseases. I remember recently that they announced successful delivery of MANF to the brain. ( I Think) If so, was their delivery method more invasive than this latest delivery method? What do we know about how they were able to deliver MANF to the brain? If theirs required physical probes into the brain to deliver MANF to bypass the blood/brain barrier and these other guys have figured out a way to get it into the brain without probes stuck into someones head, then we can conclude that a better method of delivery has been found. Hence my reasoning earlier, that AMBS will be passed up in a few areas technologically and scientifically. Not saying all, but how much is time a factor until their science is irrelevant due to continuing advancements from other competitors. Great we have all these patents, but if the science is replaced by better treatments for the same ailments, then I guess we would see the writing on the wall.
Not saying that it is happening, just saying that it is a possibility. I may have totally misunderstood the science in this article, but it made me now question the update about the success of the delivery that was posted a few months back.
