GE ($GE) announced an agreement to sell GE Capital’s Commercial Lending and Leasing Portfolios in Australia and New Zealand to Sankaty Advisors, in line with GE’s strategy of reducing the size of its financial businesses. The companies did not divulge the terms of the deal, although it was revealed that the deal would close in the fourth quarter.
