When your sales go from $0 to $70K to $700K (in consecutive quarters), that brings more interest and more scrutiny. The prospect of audited numbers was to stop the assault that was occurring daily on the stock. Some, who I won't bother naming, were questioning every detail of anything the company put out and using that to undermine investor "confidence" and "trust". At one point, the stock would even go down on days with "good" news (new distributors, new flavor announcements, etc.). Something had to be done and this was the chosen path.
