I figure I'll take a few minutes before settling in to watch the Seahawks today.
In response to 2Can's request for the 1 most important question to ask GM.
In my opinion, there is only 1 question to ask: "why on earth has there been no news or financial report or update or anything for over 1/2 a year?" That is simply unacceptable.
I heard "we are good", things are moving along", "news coming soon", "we have partners with big bank accounts" throughout 2014 and early 2015.
So how come there has been not a peep for so long? If there are complications that hold up financial reports that cant be discussed...well; OK. But let us know. Tell us that there are delays. Don't stay silent.
To me, extended silence means there are problems. That is what I assume now.
I don't want an update that says things are moving along without any substance to back that up. What we need is some sort of statement from GM that explains why he has been silent and why there have been no financials released. If he cant release the financials for some reason, then tell us that.
GM told Rick time and again that everything was moving along and 'we are good'. Rick, in turn, shared those comments with me (and several others) numerous times.
But that all proved untrue for Rick. He is gone and got nothing for his time and money invested in DUTV.
Maybe things will all still work out in the long run (too late for Rick though), but the extended silence is a bad sign.
Bottom line: the only question for GM that matters is "why have you been silent for so long and when will you give us some answers?"
I stayed upbeat and positive for 2 years or so, but Im finding it very hard to stay upbeat.
This is a great board. I enjoy reading the comments from 2Can. The DD from chessmite, SUNY, Hightech and others. Even though we've never met, a lot of you feel pretty much like friends. I wish every one of you the best and I hope things work out here.
But we need GM to break the silence and we need that now. If unable to give us new facts, at least let us know why he cant give us any info.
