My old pal Izzy Rotterman brought the Hemlo deal to Murray Pezim. I had part of the Corona Resources primary, and took a profit when it was given. I left a lot of money on the table! What many don’t know is that the Hemlo was mined by Teck-Cominco, predecessor to Teck as we know it today.
The 3-D model created & posted on Explor’s website is based on the actual excavations done at a number of previous gold mines on the Abitibi Greenstone Belt. During previous drilling done by Explor, a strike length of 2,000m (2,126yds) was established…OPEN AT BOTH ENDS!! That unto itself makes Hemlo look very small, by comparison.
As details emerge from Teck’s activities at the site, I suspect some of the analysts covering Teck will start taking notice of TPW’s potential to becoming one of the largest finds in Canadian history, dwarfing even the likes of Hollinger and Hemlo. I suspect they will notice EXSFF as well. Time will tell.
As volumes in the stock on the Canadian board grow (EXS), day traders take notice, recognizing their opportunity to make a penny or two at the expense of EXS/EXSFF and serious investors. Who knows, twenty years from now they’ll be remembering how they kicked the crap out of the EXS/EXSFF over those few trading sessions, and how much more they could have made if they had tucked it all away!
