I agree 1000% with Atlas.
You chose to invest here; you need to educate yourself about who is "investing" alongside you.
I read the DeepCapture series as it was being published about 10-11 years ago. I was invested in a small biotech (not DNDN which is the stock these articles focused on the tell a market wide story), but AVNR. AVNR had almost all of the same nasty investors as DNDN.
Eye-opener. It didn't scare me away, but it taught me that only the most compelling company stories and performance will be able to brake away from these vultures. It also told me who these guys are. Imagine the guys described in slasher novels. Imagine skeletons at the bottom of Lake Michigan with feet permanently weighted down by cement shoes. These criminals are serious.
