BooDog: What I have been posting is not BS. What I have been reporting are the numbers the market makers report to FINRA at the end of the day. These numbers are not 100% accurate because they include wash trades, which the MM's use to walk down the price simulate selling and dilute the short sale percentage they report at the end of the day. They also do not inculde T trades which are often used to camouflage short sales. Selling shares at the bid and buying at the ask are just one of the many tricks used by the MM's. Since Credit Suisse and UBSS were fined millions for mismarking short sales as being long they are not as willing to take the risk of mismarking so the numbers other than the exceptions I noted tend to be pretty accurate.
