I'm sorry to correct you and you can easily verify it with your broker. If it is within the time period it is a wash. Not sure if they changed the rules or not but my 2014 statement made it clear and I'm sure 2015 will be no different. Averaging down within 30 days falls into the same/similar stock was sale regs.
my mention of this was simply to say that MY BUYS showed as SELLS.
