In reply to yours : It was stated by at least 3 SH that attended the 8/22 SH meeting that Mgt mentioned 3 separate companies that had made offers or were at least contemplating a serious buyout offer. I am not sure if Mgt responded to a SH question about the company possible being acquired or if they took it upon themselves to present this info. We already know MGT turned down these offers and I am happy they did.
Regardless and personally I would NOT I say NOT be in favor of a buyout at this very moment. We have too many good things happening now and even bigger things about to happen. Lets get all 950 paramount titles uploaded, EDM, NFL live etc and get our revenues up to a point where NTEK MGT can base their sale negotiations on revenues in the hundreds of millions and not where we are now.
Although it may be a bit premature to pull the trigger on a buyout, it amazes me why so many NTEK longs are so dead set against a company sale. I say to those maybe they need to purchase many more millions of shares like some of us here already have and a buyout (maybe in 2016) would look pretty darn tempting. The MORE shares you own the better a buyout appears.
I do get it though, IF I only owned 1-2M shares, I as a SH would not be in favor of a buyout as I would be looking for $$'s per PPS and a buyout would render far less on a SP basis.
