Never said anything about Walmart, and a franchise at a corporate level can place products in every store. You don't have to go store by store on chain convenience stations either, it's the same thing. They may have individual owners buy they still can call the shots. Take subway for instance, they're individually owned but ultimately controlled by corporate. That's why if one subway has something going on they all do just about. When Jared admitted his love for children corporate had every store remove his image. So if one major convenience store carries a product you can bet that whole region is. Ever wondered why chain stores are all laid out the same and carry the same products even though individually owned? It's not because they're like minded people. It's because corporate has a business plan that includes products and layout designs as well as how it'll be run. Everything to the last detail is corporate. Individually owned or not, it's corporate calling shots and if corporate wants a product sold, either nationwide or regional, it'll be put into the sole by the masses. I'm not wrong and at no time in my MBA Finance degree did they ever mention making more money in mom and pop stores. The goal was to get products into big retailers because it brings more attention, traffic and money to the table.
