You may have the wrong person--I've never thought naked shorting was a myth. If someone sells shares short and if the broker allows it but doesn't have a borrow then, voila!, there's a naked short position.

Short or naked short, it doesn't make a difference. Those with a short position have to eventually buy the stock back and shorters have to pay any dividends. Longs don't like shorts because longs feel a shorts' bet against the company somehow hurts the company...but it doesn't. Longs' shares are fundamentally worth exactly the same whether someone else is short or not. That said, I'm not short PTOI, naked or not--my broker doesn't allow shorting pennies.

Hired "troll bashing"??

I don't personally believe anyone gets hired to post on message boards,neither for nor against companies. For every manipulation suit I've ever seen, posting was always done by those who directly benefit (and was always on the 'pump' side). It doesn't make much sense to pay someone who might someday come forward and say they were paid to try to manipulate the stock. Even IHub's employees who manipulated the posting of certain message boards in order to pump certain stocks had a vested interest in the stocks--being paid to run IHub was separate from their scheme.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
