Mr. Remo, whose career in Wall Street spanned thirty years where he was involved in all areas of the institutional bond and equity business. After starting at the bond underwriting firm of Halsey, Stuart & Co. Inc., he was later associated with Oppenheimer & Company in New York, Montgomery Securities in San Francisco and finished in New York at Scotia McLeod where he was Manager, U.S. Equity Sales and Research and finally at Nikko Securities where he served as Chairman, Investment Policy Committee.
Mr. Remo has served on the boards of various public companies, including being Chairman of Icon Laser Eye Centers, a Toronto based and TSE listed eye surgery company and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Vision America, a Memphis based and Nasdaq listed opthalmic practice management company. He was also Chairman/CEO of Eyemakers, Inc., a Dallas, Texas based optometric practice management and Lasik clinic operator.
Mr. Remo’s extensive corporate activities also included being Chairman of Igea Salus, a Rome, Italy based operator of dialysis clinics and finally as Chairman/CEO of American Diversified Holdings Corporation.
Mr. Remo has also acted as an advisor to a number of other companies, both public and private and will now be concentrating his efforts as Chairman/CEO of ADHC implementing the investing and acquisition strategy for the future.
