He has earned his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designations from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). Govang holds a Michigan Real Estate Broker's license and a bachelor's degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
