MassRoots Crosses 325,000 Users and 110 Million Interactions; To Sponsor Marijuana Tech Pitch-Off This Weekend

I'm pleased to report MassRoots has crossed 325,000 users who have interacted 110 million times over our network. MassRoots is quickly becoming one of the first national brands in the cannabis industry. In addition to its mobile app, MassRoots has 180,000 followers on Instagram, 90,000 followers on Twitter and 45,000 followers on Facebook.
“Right now, our goal is to capture as much market share of cannabis consumers and businesses as possible. We already have one of the largest communities and social followings in the industry; over the next several months, we’re going to extend that lead as much as possible,” stated MassRoots CEO Isaac Dietrich. “Specifically, we expect to surpass 500,000 users during Q3 2015 and 1 million users during Q1 2016.”
Over the next several weeks, MassRoots expects to release in-app direct messaging, expanded business profiles and new user discovery features; we expect these improvements to our platform will increase user-engagement and accelerate our user growth.
In partnership with CanopyBoulder, Whaxy, and the Cannabis Commodities Exchange, MassRoots will be sponsoring a pitch-off on May 15th and 16th in Boulder, CO. Teams of developers, entrepreneurs and marketers will have 24 hours to generate as much traction as possible for their businesses or projects. The event kicks off at 6:00pm on May 15th at CanopyBoulder’s headquarters. More information will be posted on MassRoots’ social media channels later today.
