I personally believe that Baltia's competition is trying very hard to keep Baltia from obtaining its certification. I believe that they have not only hired people to write controversial things about Baltia, but that the fact that they have been able to uncontestedly get away with it for so long coupled with a certain desperation as Baltia's gets closer and closer to the finish line lends them to becoming more bold and way too careless.
I am clearly not alone in this belief, as there are currently ongoing investigations in multiple areas to uncover any improprieties.
These investigations are not being conducted by the airline, but rather have been brought to light by the airline and are now being conducted internally by the respective agencies.
Recently one overzealous official was held back and questioned about his tactics. Since that time he has been completely removed from the process altogether.
Another official, whose wife was not too long ago terminated from her position and is herself being investigated, had to be given a stern warning from his superiors to stand down.
There are a few other examples, but desperation is making the culprits become more brazen and less careful about covering their tracks.
The level of absurd comments here on this board has reached an all time low, as the comments have now turned towards attempting to discredit those who try to inform this board of what true DD has uncovered.
I pose this question to all: If an airline has for many years controlled the direct route from JFK to Moscow, and anyone traveling to St. Petersburg would have to travel with them and later get a connecting flight, how many of those JFK to St. Petersburg passengers would be lost to Baltia upon certification?
Personally I believe 100%, and only Baltia's competition would truly know that answer (as they can tell by their own passenger logs).
Baltia's certification will result in an IMMEDIATE decline in passengers on that route...and as Baltia grows and expands into other cities (like Moscow)...that decline will continue.
Can you see a reason why Baltia's competition might try less than scupulous means to keep Baltia out of business?
The good part is that the agencies involved are aware of the corruption and are actively removing the henchmen from within their own ranks....and that Baltia can continue along with the certification process with out the unfair outside influence.
