a wider area- cant see image as i explain it -but u can see the bone dry flats east/lee side of the central baja range where even the rattlesnakes sometimes shrivel up w only 2" precip/year- too dry even for iron mining? since need some water source for operations- w observatory in center of pic last i looked.
