Of course you were.

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

I recall once when I was on a flight there was a baby crying continuously in the seat behind mine. I noticed there was an empty seat about ten rows forward from where I was sitting and I asked the flight attendant if it was o.k. for me to move. She said it was fine to do so. I subsequently moved to the empty seat.

Some people might say that the crying baby drove me away but I like to think I moved because I was smart enough to know that I didn't want to listen to a crying baby for the duration of the flight.
