facai: There is a big difference between members of management who get options to buy 2 million shares at .08 cents versus shareholders who have to buy 2 million shares at .08 cents with $160,000 cash! Getting options to purchase 8 years from now at .08 cents seems like a great deal. But if you have $160,000 on the line (as a shareholder would have).....you would view the short term progress of the stock very differently than management holding free options and none of their own money on the line.
This is what management does in many stocks, they vote themselves huge options to buy vast amounts of shares at a low price, then do whatever it takes over several years to hit pay dirt.....having none of their own money on the line.
They are taking risks with shareholder money, not their own. That's why shareholders in small biotech stocks must beware!!
