There are pros and cons with every investment, as

Some of us choose to focus on the overall story and the positive aspects, which we believe far outweigh the negative ones. Some feel that is sticking one's head in the sand. Hogwash. It simply means we realize we have a management and advisory team that is light-years more capable of anticipating and working around the problems and continuing toward their goals than you or anyone else on this board who are analyzing and criticizing their every move... holding their feet to the fire. How exactly is that done by posting concerns on a message board? Trying to get everyone riled up so lots of people will contact management? Have you contacted management with your concerns before posting them here? I have, which is why I usually don't post concerns here.
Look up the definition of long-term investing and see how well it fits with the actions of some here who are constantly crying about the share price, and yet claim they are "long" investors. Their posts focus on how much they're down or who is to blame for the current share price. This not only indicates short-term thinking, but also insecurity in their decision to invest here. Investors who cannot handle the volatility of investing in a pre-revenue biotech, or the possibility of having to wait several years for real share price appreciation, should get out of the investment. Those with a long-term outlook aren't concerned about the share price, and see it as a buying opportunity. If their outlook is truly long, it's pretty easy to ignore the stagnant share price because they understand if the company executes well, eventually it will take care of reaching the proper valuation. They have no need for the money now, and aren't using their investment as their emergency fund.
It is clear which category you fall in, regardless of your claims. All one has to do is read your posts. Ignore the claims and watch the actions. Simple. But as you stated, to each his own. If you feel you are effectively holding management's feat to the fire with your posts, then you should continue. It's good for people to feel useful in their lives, even if they're incapable of analyzing whether their actions are getting the desired effect. GLTY
