The CEO has said that spinoff of the diagnostics division will deliver some of the long overdue value to shareholders. There are multiple options being considered on how this will be done, and at one of the recent conferences he mentioned that they were being approached with new ideas on how to do this. I still believe he intends to deliver rewards to shareholders when this is finalized. I hope those who can't remain patient for our rewards will finally receive some satisfaction and stop referring to our CEO as a liar.
I know some believe GC should focus on share price and offload some of our assets for whatever he can get for them, just to bring revenue now instead of later, and pump up the share price. I'm glad he's not that short-sighted and will continue to develop the assets until their real value can be realized, either through revenue or from a spinoff for up-front cash and hopefully a continued portion of the revenue stream. The target for this transaction is Q2 2015, so we don't have much longer to wait to see what they decide to do with the diagnostics division.
The current share price is a buying opportunity for those who still have faith and are able to free up some cash to add shares.
