Even if SCRC was just about compounding I wouldn't have been that concerned to sell my shares. Compounding is here to stay. Here's my best guess. CVS Caremark will eventually begin reimbursing for compounding again. It's a multi-million dollar market and they are not going to wash their hands of it. They are a powerful PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) and what will occur is a re-negotiated reimbursement rate based on the ingredients in the script. It's a power play and they are in the position to make the call. However, Employers, Patients, and Physicians can also put pressure on PBMs to fill scripts too. In the mean time, SCRC will need to fill more scripts and with Mr. Schneiderman negotiating equity in two additional pharmacies (and I bet more to come), increased volume will be no problem. Combine that with PIMD, the Diabetes Program, and now the physician dispensing program, SCRC will rebound in a huge way. The 10K will be fantastic when its released. Gregory FCA should be turning this around - and I say SHOULD BE!
