Picon, I think you hit the nail on the head in more ways than one. My thoughts are the same as yours regarding access for those homegrowers who can't afford 5 to 8 dollars per gram. After reading your first paragraph of your comment (you wise old fart you) it struck me that an operation the size of FITX would find it much easier to implement some sort of indigent program as you suggest. Also, following the simple law of supply and demand a facility with the ability to harvest much larger crops could and probably would offer the product at a much lower price than the competition. So it stands to reason that there are a multitude of people (other licensed producers and their stockholders) whom stand to lose (possibly everything) to a fully licensed Cen Bio. In reading the homegrowers case it seems it is in large part predicated on the prohibitive cost they would incur. After all, their cost of production is somewhere between .50 and 2.00 per gram. Cen Bio would certainly be able to narrow that gap considerably.
