Discretion being the better part investor review, I suggest that for those who either do not know what Rare Earths or Lanthinides are, do a little due diligence. Molycorp, a minesite in Mountain Pass, CA has been one of the largest Rare Earth mines in the US. Operations at Molycorps are expensive and extremely sophisticated. Bottom line for Rare Earths: HIGH DOLLAR investment and a degree of technical expertise that may not be feasible at small minesites. MY OPINION: The primary direction that Pershing Resources APPEARS to be pursuing is the identification and location of gold deposits with a distsnt focus on Rare Earths. Why do I suggest this? Simple answer revolves around finances. If a large enough gold ore body is present, the projected reserves COULD fund Rare Earth exploration, mining and extraction. Another possibility (albeit, one I consider less probable) that could occur is 'foreign' company investment. The Rare Earth occurence would have to be attractive enough to provide a huge ROI to investor(s) OR a country that has technological requirements for Rare Earths could absorb a financial loss to obtain the needed elements. I believe the choice for gold mining is more credible.
