It would have been smart to lay out their reasons why 14.4K units was the magical number for Rico Suave's introduction. I assume their reasons are simply "test marketing" but they could let shareholders know their plans beyond test marketing with the assumption the public receives the product well. The 14.4K almost implies a lack of confidence in the product's initial release or is this the standard energy drink "test volume" when introducing energy drinks to specific markets? Maybe 14.4K units actually instills confidence for those with knowledge in the energy drink business. All I know is advertising that number has allowed for much fodder on the message boards. In addition to missing their past Rico Suave deadlines which we know they can't miss again. Especially with a clock ticking away.
