hese interviewees are major figures in China’s NEV industry.
The brief statements each of them share in the program are basically about the importance of NEVs and its impact to the society, nothing really specific pertaining to business operation.
Following is what Mr. Hu says in the program; it might also give you some idea about what the other revolutionaries are saying. [the heading for each section is my summary of that part of program]
Introduction
00:17 Mr. Hu:
If urban transit remains unchanged, it'll be impossible to travel in 5-10 years.
Section I: NEV entrepreneurs' vision/aspiration
02:07 Mr. Hu
If a narrow space can become a path, then, it is possible to be transformed into a way.
To make the path into a way is our goal.
Section II: childhood memory as inspiration
02:49 Mr. Hu
I was a school boy for 3 years, tended cattle for 3 years, and served pop-rice cake for another 3 years.
And working as a carpenter is the best 3 years of those days.
My father was brought down for being a rightist.
I had never had a real meal before the age of 16.
The workshop took care of the meals; we even got 4 meals a day.
At that time, only local elite could got Master carpenter Hu to work for them.
There was no way to see Master Hu without some reputation in the village.
It was that simple.
That respect and honor brought me tremendous happiness.
