IMHO, life is a journey, not a goal.
For example, I do not subscribe to the idea of chasing retirement dream in our first, say, 50 to 60 years of life and then enjoying 10 to 20 years of retirement. The fulfillment of the first 50 or 60 years of life journey is much more important to me than achieving the retirement goal.
I apply the same principle to investment. While it is definitely great to make big gain on my investment, it is the investment journey that I find fulfillment in. I like the business sense of AMBS management and I invest in AMBS so that there is some personal ownership in walking the journey with AMBS, whether in learning new things or finding fulfillment in the business as part of my own.
In this regard, it is not whether each of us has 25K, 250K, 2.5M or 25M shares. But the journey that gives us the fulfillment. This is just my personal opinion.
