Ever since the first commercial oil well was drilled in California in 1865, America
has looked to the production of abundant energy solutions from its western region.

through the combined efforts of major western industry players such as Chevron

| $84.16B) and Aera Energy – jointly owned by ExxonMobil (NYSE:XOM |
$397.32B) and Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE:RDS.A | $229.56B).
And in the neighboring state of Nevada, production and exploration continues with
the goal of furthering the nation’s great tradition of western US energy production.
