My understanding of Urano's post today is that he is trying to reprogram stem cells to produce more MANF within themselves and then insert them back into the body. This technique does not use our recombinant MANF, but it nevertheless underscores how useful MANF is.
I suspect Dr. Urano will use a variety of approaches in his treatment of wolframs and diabetes, and some of them will involve our recombinant MANF, for example to treat eye damage caused by wolframs.
