Co-Owner of C & C Petroleum Management, LLC, recently sold to Treaty Energy (TECO)
Brian D. Luczywo (pronounced Loo-chee’-voe) – Mr. Luczywo is currently a co-owner of a petroleum management company involved in procuring and optimizing oil and gas leases using up-to-date operational standards and modern recovery methods. Brian graduated Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Advanced Physics and a minor in the then-young field of Computer Engineering. A GM scholarship paid for his last 2 years of college and he hired in with General Motors and went to work for their Delco Electronics division which spun off into Delphi Corporation. His career there began with writing software for industrial controls and testing. He then went on to implement quality engineering methodologies and procedures on behalf of Delphi internationally with their suppliers. Brian then spent 13 years as a data analyst, database expert, business planner, operations expert, and implemented the new field of Business Intelligence on the $250M integrated circuit (computer chip) fabrication line run by Delphi. His optimization projects cut process times from 30 days to 3 in accounting, eliminated monthly accounting errors of over $1M per month, saved millions of dollars in waste in operations, and brought desktop visibility to factory floor events to upper management.
After leaving Delphi, Mr. Luczywo founded his own energy investment company and directed his energies into finding underperforming oil and natural gas projects that lend themselves to improvement, short-term return of capital and solid ROI. Brian brings his analytical expertise to evaluating prospects in his current partnership with Mr. York. He has the ability to deal with clients at multiple levels ranging from blue collar to front office to back office. He also has the background to implement features such as remote well monitoring, on-line project tracking, and other modern production control methods in a manner that is cost-effective for mid-sized oilfield projects. Brian’s familiarity with accounting information and auditing requirements also facilitate the oversight necessary in investor-funded projects.
Brian has relationships in engineering, operations management, banking and finance, and oilfield optimization. His current focus is on building his company’s portfolio of energy projects while growing ROI and making appropriate use of cash flow and investment funds.
