Now we're not golden???? What gives? The fact that GC said we would get the info by 12-31 and now changed it to 1-14 at the conference coupled with the likely reason he wants to explain the data, scares the carp out of me.

I don't feel I was being condescending toward you. I explained my reasoning. If you don't agree, that's fine. I just don't fear the decision to change the planned announcement of the data, nor do I try to seek a rational explanation for every decision.
