To have some logical analysis is no magic and everyone can do it too.
The logical way is to analyse the situation from business angle only, from AMBS' perspective as well as other groups' (competitors, partners, potential buyers etc) perspectives: be acutely aware of the situations, strategise against targets of interests, build up advantageous position and momentum etc.
Do not cloud the analysis with value judgement or idealistic theories like:
1. moral values like integrity or keeping promises
2. legality
3. non-business-related goals and benefits
4. etc.
Then the understanding of why things are done in certain ways will be crystal clear. There will be little or no emotion caused as the appreciation and expectations will be mature and follow right sense.
This is one of the reasons that AMBS must focus on its business goals and not be distracted by groups that are of no interests to them or do not have objectives aligned with them, else the business will be lost and everyone will lose. Historically, many great people have to climb on piles of corpses in their journey, despised by people, to achieve their ultimate goal to bring prosperity and goodness to the society or people.
Business is like politics sometimes. Companies do not really prioritise for the public shareholders like politicians to the public. Companies will leverage on the public shareholders if they can help in the cause to some business goals like how politicians can sway public sentiment to their cause through propaganda etc.
I am positive because my own assessment tells me that Gerald and his team are business savvy and business focused. In addition, I think Gerald is sincerely wanting AMBS to succeed. Surely I may be wrong but it is for me to lose as it is my personal judgement not made under any undue influence and I will not blame anyone including Gerald.
