Jonas, who will begin his new role in early January, will help lead the company's ongoing growth in the Carolinas and will be based in the company's Charlotte office.
CNL Commercial Real Estate has been strategically focusing on continuing to provide sophisticated but personalized service offerings to its investor, occupier and nonprofit customers across the Southeast. To provide that depth and breadth, there has been a purposeful focus on its mid-South operation as evidenced by the recent acquisition of both Crescent's and Faison Enterprises' services businesses that included eight million square feet of leasing and management assignments and 54 employees. That momentum continues as the addition of Jonas will allow CNL to provide a focused depth in office product and the office markets across the Carolinas. This proven expertise will allow the delivery of an even greater solution set to customers across the Carolinas. In his new role as the CNL Market Leader, Jonas will continue to be a producer in the Carolinas; lead the company's overall growth alongside his retail partner Susan McGuire, principal in Charlotte; drive strategic acquisitions and talent recruitment with Ken Loeber, president of services, based in Charlotte; and create selective investment opportunities with Pryse Elam, president of development and investments, based in South Florida. His top priority will be serving the company's existing clients more deeply and fully, building new client relationships, leveraging the platforms experience to provide highly personalized service, and recruiting talented professionals to join and support the growth story that is CNL.

Jonas started his real estate career with Trinity Partners where he served as a managing director, providing leadership in several areas of the company. He oversaw the Office Tenant Representation Group, assisting clients with locating and securing office space throughout the Carolinas. Prior to that role, Jonas led the firm's national relationship management and business development efforts, assisting with asset evaluation, valuation, and capital deployment throughout the Carolinas. For the last three years, Jonas was the senior vice president of asset leasing for Jones Lang Salle.
Jonas is most notable for providing his customers with superior market knowledge, accurate valuations, innovative marketing and asset-specific marketing, resulting in lease up and value creation.
