Dude, and I call you dude because during the 8 years I lived in nyc I learned that true new yorkers are really just chilled out California surfer dudes at heart with all bark but no bite type characteristics.
Why do you care if Jason F gave such small change rev? We can speculate all day long to why...but do you really care? He may genuinely not know himself. What kind of rev guidance did Gerald give us? Does Jason F know any soft selling going on? Does he know of any entity ready to use Lympro for a 1000 patient screening about to take place next year...or, in the next 3 weeks? Does he sit in on any ambs strategic planning meetings?
What if Gerald, who I do believe is a skilled communicator, in regards to LymPro, would prefer to just keep silent when asked about it out of fear of not messing up negotiations currently taking place. I mean really, a start up biotech with no rev on the otc...I'd rather just stfu. Armchair ceo speaking, "if investors haven't grasped the idea that they will benefit with what has already been said...they'll just have to lose out or deal with a couple months of silence". What could he really say? "Listen investment community, if X company gives us 500 mil upfront, we'll just classic, bet your arse, JV partner, but if X company straight up buys our diagnostic division for 3 bil...then we'll just go that route...." or you, jp, may believe Gerald hasn't got squat?
I used to worry about why no national coverage, too, it is strange....peanut butter sniffing to diagnose alzheimers even got media, wtf?? Dude, journalism is a shallow world. Will the average Joe that heard or read about georgetown's test and the others remember where it came from? And if we spin it off in a few months, who cares if it doesn't get coverage? We've got ESS - w now!
