Just thought I'd mention that I used the ESS-W acq

One of the replies I received questioned whether it was ethical for the government to fund this asset and not provide equal funding to other companies developing similar assets. I responded by pointing out that the litigation had the asset development frozen, and that every company with a competing product could have stepped in and tried to negotiate a solution to unfreeze and acquire the asset, just as Amarantus did. I pointed out that the ESS-W asset was widely known in the burn center community, so it was unlikely competitors were unaware of the product. It's been in development for the last 10 years.
Since the asset already had established government funding for further development, I don't see any ethical issues if competitors chose to do nothing. I was sure to describe the asset in great detail, and to mention Amarantus Bioscience by name. Hopefully some of my classmates or my professor might take a look and become interested as an investor. It never hurts to spread the word, even in an online course environment.
